Published – Shutter Magazine!!

As a professional photographer I continue to work at my craft every day to improve and add new dimension to my portraits. It really is a life long learning and growing process.  Mastering photography is so much MORE than having a “nice camera”.

Professional photographers know how to use their camera technically, see the light to create the correct lighting exposure,  compose the shot, find focus, all while posing and making the person in front of the camera at ease. When I take a single senior picture during your session I look at a dozen different things each time before I push the shutter; all for creating images you will fall in love with.

There are numerous avenues in the world of professional photography to help achieve new levels of portrait mastery. Here are a few I have been honored to be chosen and awarded with.

My senior portrait images have been published in the February 2021, March 2019 and 2018 Editions of Shutter Magazine. This is a printed magazine, found in Barnes and Noble, specifically for photographers. The goal of Shutter Magazine is to offer articles focused on photography education and inspiration. There are thousands of photos submitted from across the globe each month. I was beyond thrilled when I learned that my submissions would be published. (Rumor has it that Bianca’s Grandmother purchased 4 copies. Gotta love Grandma’s) If you are ever in the book store, take a look and see if the current issue is there. The photography talent published each month is beyond amazing.

The Portrait Masters is a Portrait Photography award that recognizes excellence in portrait skills. Images are submitted and judged on 12 categories. I received the Bronze Award for these images I submitted. I’m so excited to continue to work hard to raise my level of expertise and bring you only the BEST in photography portraits.
